College of Engineering

　　 Established in 1961, Feng-Chia has been focusing on engineering and the business since its beginning.Today, the College of Engineering offers five undergraduate and eleven graduate engineering programs through five engineering departments and two research centers. More than 3,000 engineering students take courses taught by 83 faculty members in the College of Engineering , and we are proud to have more than 30,000 alumni from around the globe.

　　Like always, the quality of Feng-Chia's engineering education continues to be one of the best in the great Taichung area. As our commitment and practice, strong engineering education is integrated with research programs on all aspects of the College. We offer interdisciplinary programs from auto-manufacturing, civil aviation, to Nano Science and technologies. In addition, we also have two research centers working on projects related to energy and resource conservation as well as precision manufacturing. This effort is clearly recognized by our industry partners, who fund research in the laboratories and then recruit our own students. We continually strengthen our traditional engineering programs while investing on emerging fields, thereby preparing our students for the workforce of the future.
